Hi,
I am a jewelry aficionado who is somewhat new to the web (but not shopping online). My interest covers various types of jewelry at different price ranges. I personally do not own a great deal of costly jewelry - but maybe some day. Anyway, it doesn't have to be expensive for me to love it!
My collection contains items from different places in the world such as Japan, China, India, Turkey and Egypt. It includes gold, lots of silver, gems, marcasite, pearls, and a large percentage of costume jewelry. Some I inherited, some was bought when I lived in Japan, some was received as gifts and some I made. All is valued one way or the other. Stuff I don't care for , I try to recycle if possible.
Jewelry is a large part of my life. I wear it , treasure it, make it (still a novice, but I'm working on it), and buy it. It's not unusual to see something everyday that I covet. Unfortunately, it belongs to some one else or my budget simply doesn't cooperate.
Let me make something very clear, I am not an expert and will never profess to be. However, I've learned a lot over the years and will continue to do so.
